Carol Oster, aka The Wandcrafter, has been crafting and researching magic wands since 2007. She is versed in the history and traditions behind the use of "sticks of power", woods, and gemstones used in crafting many of today's finest wands. In her fandom persona, she is the niece of Garrick Ollivander, or as she calls him, "Uncle Ollie," and their professional agreements and disagreements are published in Wandcrafters Quarterly.
